'Faerie Bottom' - OOAK Book Sculpture
The epitome of having your head 'buried in a book'! These sculptures can easily be displayed about the home, stacked on top of other books to create a pile and give the sculpture more height or to create a bookish scene. The books are permanently closed and fixed in place to ensure that they are sturdy. They have also been cut down into so that the fae (and a bit of the faerie realm) are really climbing out!
This Faerie Bottom Book Sculpture is a OOAK (one-of-a-kind) fantasy art sculpture - No molds have been taken or used. Featuring a faerie bottom poking out of two carved-out vintage books. The books have been fixed into position and cannot be opened. The faerie is sculpted in professional polymer clay, hand painted with artist's acrylics and finished with matte and gloss varnishes with handmade purple-toned sparkling wings. The lower book measures approx. 18cm x 12cm with the total height of the sculpture approx 10cm. Other materials include, grass flock and both faux and real preserved moss.
This sculpture is not intended as a toy and should be treated as artwork. Dust to clean - do not wet. Wings are wired and may need gentle repositioning after shipping.
