'Book Ogre' - OOAK Book Sculpture
This Book Sculpture is a OOAK (one-of-a-kind) fantasy art sculpture - No molds have been taken or used. Featuring an Ogre sculpted head poking out of carved-out red and blue vintage books. The books have been fixed into position and cannot be opened. Head and mushrooms are all sculpted in Cosclay polymer clay, hand painted with artist's acrylics and finished with matte and gloss varnishes. The bottom book measures approx. 8 inches x 5.5 inches with the total height of the sculpture approx 7 inches tall. Other materials include glass eyes, grass flock and both faux and real preserved moss.
Also included with this piece is an original invoice that came with the lower book, 'Wind Aloft' from its original purchase, dated 21st January 1947.
This sculpture is not intended as a toy and should be treated as artwork. Dust to clean - do not wet.
