Learn to make your own Poseable Fantasy Art Doll during this Online Workshop Course with One-to-One tuition from Victoria, the artist of Faunley Fae.
You will learn everything you need to know to Sculpt, Paint, Assemble, Dress and Accessorize an Art Doll from start to finish. Learn all of Victoria's secrets, techniques, materials, tips and tricks in these One-to-One online sessions tailored precisely to your individual needs, whether a complete beginner or more experienced artist.
You will receive:
- 20 hours in total of One-to-One Tuition via video call workshop sessions, tailored to your needs and specific areas of interest. You choose the design!
- Two camera views so you can see everything clearly, plus screen sharing to view any references whilst working.
- Full List of Materials needed, specific to your design choice. (You must provide your own materials.)
- Pinterest Board of References and Inspiration compiled especially for you, for use both during the Workshop and after.
- Time between sessions to complete extra work on your Art Doll, to ensure you get the most out of your sessions and receive guidance in the areas you really need it.
We will cover many areas during the workshop, depending on the design, this could include:
Sculpting an expressive face, sculpting hands and feet, designing and assembling a strong, poseable wire armature and how to work with a plastic ball and socket armature, painting and varnishing your art doll, padding out and refining the body shape, different methods for adding hair to an art doll, creating clothing and accessories, aging and distressing, creating other features such as wings, hats, mushrooms and tails.
Workshop hours can be broken up into 3, 4 or 5 separate sessions, at a time convenient to you.
By the end of the workshop, you will have created your own fantastic Fantasy Art Doll Sculpture and have all the skills necessary to continue in your journey making poseable Art Dolls.
